Mr. Nooruddin Hasanmiyan Bargir is an accomplished Marine Surveyor and Consultant with more than 25 years of extensive professional experience in conducting marine, cargo, vessel, and container surveys, along with executing complex inspection-related assignments across the maritime, logistics, and industrial sectors. He has successfully led high-value inspection projects at major ports, CFS facilities, depots, warehouses, manufacturing units, and industrial locations in India and overseas.
His expertise covers a wide spectrum of marine and cargo inspections, including steel products, machinery, grains, refrigerated and perishable cargo, bulk commodities, breakbulk cargo, high & heavy cargo, containerized cargo, and specialised ISO tanks. He is also well-versed in pre-shipment inspections, post-shipment inspections, automobile surveys (RoRo vessels), seaworthiness surveys, cargo condition assessment, draught surveys, and P&I Club inspections.
With strong technical capability in Empty Container Depot Management, he has handled ISO tanks, Reefer containers, Dry Vans, Flat Racks, Garment containers, and Open Top containers, contributing to efficient container repair, maintenance, handling, storage, and leasing operations. His leadership extends to managing inspection teams, ensuring operational discipline, maintaining safety standards, and achieving client-focused service delivery with accuracy and commitment.
He has coordinated and collaborated with leading Indian and international clients, shipping lines, exporters, importers, CHAs, government agencies, and global stakeholders, delivering timely, compliant, and comprehensive survey solutions.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possesses extensive experience in conducting cargo inspections for a wide range of commodities including steel products, fruits, vegetables, refrigerated cargo, grains, machinery, project cargo, and bulk commodities.
- Expert in marine surveys, including seaworthiness surveys, pre- and post-shipment inspections, cargo condition surveys, stuffing and de-stuffing supervision, and refrigerated/perishable cargo inspections.
- Highly skilled in Empty Container Depot Management, handling Dry Van, Reefer, ISO Tanks, Flat Racks, Garment containers, and Open Top containers.
- Proficient in pre-shipment inspection of metals, paper waste, and chemicals as per DGFT and DPP (Pakistan) regulations.
- Experienced in lashing and securing high-value general and project cargo as per IMDG, IMO, and IACS guidelines.
- Adept at preparing detailed survey reports, inspection certificates, quotations, and invoices in compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Efficient in coordinating with clients, exporters, importers, shipping lines, CHAs, and overseas buyers/sellers to ensure smooth inspection processes.
- Expert in guiding and supervising inspection teams, ensuring quality control, operational safety, and timely project execution.
- Competent in document verification, claim assessment, incident investigation, and marine cargo/machinery damage evaluation.
