Scope of Inspection
- Verification of tank identification details (tank number, CSC, manufacturer, capacity, and certification details)
- External inspection of frame condition, surface coating, paint condition, markings, valves, ladders, and walkways
- Internal inspection covering cleanliness, corrosion or pitting, tank lining condition, presence of foreign matter, odors, or stains
- Inspection of fittings and accessories including manholes, gaskets, relief valves, temperature gauges, and pressure gauges
- Assessment of overall condition, requirement of repairs or maintenance, and suitability for next use
- Recording of last cargo carried and general compliance observations
